This
package was, in 1979 called the Bosch Deluxe Mixer. The stainless steel dough
bowl included here is build in Germany. It was designed, primarily for large
quantities of bread dough. We have sold it here at the Bosch Kitchen Center for
30 years. Bosch has decided to discontinue its production. It will be produced
again in Germany by a sub-manufacture under a different name. We will always
carry its parts and the bowl. It seems once a customer has owned this bowl it
becomes the "only bread bowl" for them. Its capacity is 7+ quarts and it will
mix 4 to 8 loaves of bread dough easily. The design is a kneading arm that
works on the bottom of the bowl, no center post to deal with, making the
addition of ingredients easier, and the removal of the finished product less
work.
This bowl is designed only as a dough bowl. This means it has
no ability to whip air into ingredients, though we have mixed cookie dough
in it with ease, for
years.
