In our tests the Bosch Plus blender rotates the ingredients more effectively than the Vita-mix. The Vita-mix has more power, but this blender seems to chop and mix the ingredients faster. You will love this blender.

We also love the new locking bowl and the "handle" lip around the outside of the new bowl. You just turn this new bowl and it locks onto the base!

An all new 800 watt motor built by Bosch with four speeds (slower and faster speeds than the MUM6, the previous model)

The new plus also has a redesigned transmission. The testing facility says the motor will last two times longer and the transmission will last four times than its predecessor
