Drive Bushing Set Installation

1.       Remove the old drive bushing set. Remove the metal drive pin by pushing it through the bottom of the bowl.
2.       Remove the nut from the underside of the bowl. The nut may be metal or plastic depending on the age. Both metal and plastic nuts unscrew counterclockwise. There is no need to hold the plastic bushing on the inside of the bowl still; there are metal tabs on the bowl that will hold it still for you.
3.       Remove the plastic bushing from inside of the bowl.
4.       Install the new drive bushing set.
5.       Remove the drive pin from the new bushing set and unscrew the plastic nut from the bushing. Keep the white gasket with the bushing.
6.       Place the new bushing with the gasket inside of the metal bowl shell, lining up the two indentations with the two metal tabs on the bowl shell.
7.       Turn the bowl over and screw the new nut onto the bushing.
8.       Push the metal drive pin in place up through the bottom of the bowl.
