Shelf-Life: Gourmet Scone Mix will store for 1 to 3 years in a sealed 5 pound mylar bag under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).
Instructions: Dissolve 2 ½ teaspoons of dry active yeast in 1 cup warm water. Add 3 cups of scone mix. Knead until smooth and elastic, cover and let rest for 20 minutes. Roll out dough to ¼ inch, then cut out scones to desired size. Fry in vegetable oil at 375°F. Gently turn the scone until it turns a light golden brown on each side and serve.
Uses: Makes delicious flakey scones. For added variety add 1/2 cup of your favorite Honeyville dried fruit. They taste great when sprinkled with powdered sugar, or top your scone with fresh fruit and whipped cream for a unique treat.
