Two Ingredient Chocolate Mousse

Instructions:

If using a chocolate bar, chop into small pieces. Add the chocolate and water to a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring regularly, until the mixture is melted and smooth.

While the chocolate is melting, make an ice bath by placing ice in a large bowl, then nestling a smaller bowl down in the ice so the ice comes up around the sides.

Once the chocolate is completely melted and smooth, pour the mixture into the small bowl in the ice bath.

Use a hand mixer with the whisk attachment to vigorously whisk the mixture until thickened to the texture of whipped cream. This can take 5 to 10 minutes, so don’t give up if it doesn’t seem like anything is happening.

Serve with chocolate shavings, fresh berries, and whipped cream if desired.
