Water can accumulate in the “x” shaped drive socket by running down the Bosch bowl drive shaft. After years of use the drive socket often begins to rust, causing the four contact partitions to weaken and ware.

 Rust can also effect the outer diameter of the drive socket. It begins to ware the bushing suspending the drive shaft socket.




The T-304 replacement drive socket will not rust over time.
